About Bee Beauty...

Founded by Lyddie Beech in 2020, Bee Beauty York is a relaxed private salon (affectionately known as The Hive) in the bustling village of Osbaldwick less than 2 miles from the centre of York.

All appointments are provided on a 1-2-1 basis.  In summer, the garden is in full bloom, bursting with British wild flowers, birds, butterflys & of course bumble bees. The Hive doors will always wide open allowing the sunshine & the sound of song birds in.   In winter we create the cosiest atmosphere by lighting candles, turning the heating right up, hot water bottles, toasty blankets & hearing the pitter patter of rain on the roof.   I pride myself in creating an immersive experience where you leave your troubles at the gate.  Combining pampering & connecting with nature, this in my opinion is the best form of self-care.

I have been working in the industry since 2012.  Before making the decision to open my own beautiful studio, I worked in a busy city centre salon, which I loved, however I knew it was time to spread my wings.

I am committed to making you feel & look your best. Offering only top-of-the range, vegan, cruelty free brands and bespoke treatments.  Impeccable hygiene and working to the highest standards are always my upmost priority.  Fully qualified & insured.

I am passionate about my own development.  I strive to be the best. I always have a course (or two) on the go, earlier in the year I completed “Expand into Excellence" advanced nail technician qualification, run by the world renowned Nail Tech Org.  This qualification only accepted 100 applicants, and I was lucky enough to be one of them.  I was also placed in The District Top 10 Nail Technicians by the National Hair & Beauty awards 2023.Keep your eyes peeled for updates...
